A Visit to Kallista

I went out with Melanie and Angela, our eldest and youngest daughters today, to Grants Picnic Grounds near Kallista in the Dandenongs for a lovely walk in the forest. I felt like going out after being inside all week working and it was a lovely calm day, neither cold nor hot.

We really do have beautiful countryside in Victoria and although we have hot dry weather, it always seems to get broken up by the occasional day of rain in the summer. The rainforests are a delight to visit, very peaceful and calming.
