Make Pretend Rain

Well, they keep promising us rain – here it is Easter Sunday and we had a very small sprinkle on Thursday – barely touched the ground. I thought we were supposed to have rain for about 3 days there and today they said ‘a shower or two’.

Just checked the BOM radar and it shows a few showers west, south and east of the ranges but nothing near the city or suburbs. I was able to water the garden yesterday morning (it’s permitted twice a week before 6am and 8am) but that means I couldn’t have a sleep in Oh well. I love my garden and enjoy walking through it each day as I go in and out of the house, or even just to hang out washing in the backyard.
