Melbourne – the Home of Tennis

If you follow the Tennis you’ll know that the Australian Open is on currently here in Melbourne. So, all eyes worldwide are focused on our lovely city, and namely the tennis centre at Melbourne Park.

If you’ve never been to Melbourne you probably don’t know that Melbourne Park is literally within walking distance of the Melbourne CBD area. You can catch a tram but if the weather is pleasant, so is the walk. The Richmond Train Station is very close by as well and when you leave Richmond heading into the city, you actually pass Melbourne Park. It’s just one of the many busy times of the year in Melbourne.
